Representative Paymar, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present.

S.F. 2470 (Melin) Medical Cannabis Therapeutic Research Act; clinical trials on the therapeutic use of medical cannabis required and standards set, commissioner of health required to contract with one medical cannabis product manufacturer, impact assessment ad reports required, fees set, and money appropriated.

Chair Paymar moved S.F. 2470 before the committee for an informational hearing.
