Representative Lenczewski, Chair of Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm February 20 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hansen moved HF 489 (Lenczewski) Income and franchise taxes, property taxes, sales and use taxes, and other taxes and tax provisions technical and clarifying changes made

Susan Von Mosch, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Revenue presented HF 489.

Representative Davnie made the motion to re-refer HF 489 to the committee on Civil Law.

The motion prevailed.

Representative Lillie moved HF 490 (Lenzewski) Income and franchise taxes, property taxes, sales and use taxes, and other taxes and tax provision policy changes made.

The following individuals testified on HF 490:

Susan Von Mosch, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Revenue
Pat Finnegan, Minnesota Department of Revenue
Lance Staricha, Minnesota Department of Revenue

Representative Lillie made the motion to re-refer HF 490 to the committee on Civil Law.

The motion prevailed.
