MINUTES
Representative Erhardt, Chair of the Transportation Policy Committee called the meeting to order on Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at 6:00 PM in Room 500S of the State Office Building.

Chair Erhardt moved HF1214:
Rep. Mahoney presented HF1214(Mahoney) Motor vehicles regulated, scrap metal processing regulation amended, proof of ownership or hold period required for vehicles purchased for scrap, automated property system and criminal penalties created.

Chair Erhardt renewed his motion to pass HF1214 and be sent to the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Erhardt presented HF798(Erhardt) Minnesota road use test participation data classified, and construction manager ad general contractor data classified.

Rep. Hornstein presented HF1219(Hornstein)
Rep. Hornstein renewed his motion that HF1219 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE BILL IS RE-REFERRED.
Rep. Petersburg moves approval of the minutes of March 13th. Motion prevails. Minutes are adopted.
Rep. Hilstrom presented HF1280(Hilstrom) Driver feedback and safety-monitoring equipment prohibited in certain vehicles.

Chair Erhardt moved to amend HF1280 (see attached
A13-0249). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.
Chair Erhardt renewed his motion that HF1280 be passed and re-referred to the committee on Public Safety. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
