Representative Carlson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:02 A.M. on Monday, February 11, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Kahn moved approval of the minutes of Tuesday, February 5, 2013. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Rep. Poppe moved that HF251, First Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Poppe presented HF251 (Poppe) First Engrossment Farmer-Lender Mediation Act sunset date extended.
Todd Iverson, University of Minnesota, responded to questions regarding HF251, First Engrossment.
Rep. Poppe renewed the motion that HF251, First Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Carlson moved that SF58, First Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Lillie presented SF58, First Engrossment, Labor agreements and compensation plans between the state of Minnesota and employee associations ratified.
Greg Hubinger, Director, Legislative Coordinating Commission, testified on SF58, First Engrossment.
Bill Marx, Fiscal Analyst, responded to questions regarding SF58, First Engrossment.
Barbara Homes, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, testified on SF58, First Engrossment.
Chair Carlson renewed the motion that SF58, First Engrossment, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
