MINUTES
Representative Scott, Vice Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on February 17th, 2015, in the Hearing Room Ten of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Scott called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was not present.
Matt Gehring of House Research gave an overview of Minnesota’s Medical Privacy Laws.
At 8:20 a quorum was present.
Representative Smith moved to adopt the minutes of February 12th, 2015. The minutes were ADOPTED.
Presentation: “Protecting Medical Privacy in Minnesota” available testifiers: Twila Brase, Dr. Laraine Kurisko, Dr. Stephen Huey, and Donald Lee.
Minnesota Department of Health presentation by Manny Munson-Regala.
At 9:15 A.M. Representative Smith assumed the gavel.
At 9:19 A.M. Chair Scott re-assumed the gavel.
Public Testimony by Dr. Mariam Lastigard.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 A.M.
