MINUTES

Representative Jenifer Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:48 p.m. on March 10th, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Loon moved HF1391 be re-referred to the Committee on Higher Education Policy and Finance.

Representative Loon renewed the motion that HF1391 be re-referred to the Committee on Higher Education Policy and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Marquart moved the minutes of March 5th, 2015, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1209 Barrett, Suicide prevention training required, de-escalation of mental health crises training required for law enforcement, report required, and money appropriated.
Representative Loon moved HF1209 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Reform.
Representative Barrett testified on HF1209.

Representative Fenton moved that HF643, First Engrossment, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Representative Fenton moved to adopt the H0643DE2-1 amendment.
Representative Fenton incorporated the following into the H0643DE2-1 amendment to HF643, First Engrossment:
Page 1, line 24, strike “Principals’ Leadership”
Page 2, line 1, strike “Principals’ Leadership”
Page 2, line 33 delete “(a)”
Page 3, delete lines 4 through 7

Representative Fenton renewed the motion to adopt H0643DE2-1, as incorporated. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
