MINUTES

Representative Jenifer Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:48 p.m. on March 19th, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Peterson moved the minutes of March 18th, 2015, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1636 Christensen, School district authority to transfer certain money among funds and accounts extended.
Representative Christensen moved that HF1636 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Christensen testified on HF1636.

Representative Loon laid over HF1636 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill, or further consideration at a later date.

HF1390 Bly, Pupil unit provisions modified.

Representative Loon moved that HF1390 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Loon moved the A15-0166 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Kresha moved that HF1368 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Kresha testified on HF1368.

Representative Kresha moved the H1368-A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Loon laid over HF1368, as amended, for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill, or further consideration at a later date.

HF768 Schomacker, Independent School District No. 402, Hendricks exempted from the general reciprocity agreement.

Representative Loon moved that HF768 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
