MINUTES

Representative Jenifer Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:48 p.m. on February 24th, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dettmer moved the minutes of February 19th, 2015, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF72 S. Anderson, Education expense credit and deduction provided to apply to expenditures for prekindergarten expenses.

Representative Loon moved that HF72 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Sarah Anderson testified on HF72.

HF667 S. Anderson, K-12 education expense credit modified, credit amount and income phase out for the credit increased, and credit phase out threshold adjusted for inflation.

Representative Loon moved that HF667 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Loon moved that HF245, First Engrossment, be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Loon moved the H0245A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
