MINUTES
Representative McNamara, Chair of the Environment & Natural Resources Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:17 a.m. on March 24, 2015 in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Newberger moved to approve the minutes of March 19, 2015.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Dill moved HF 624 (Dill) Snowmobile registration fees modified, for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.
Representative McNamara moved HF 946 (Hackbarth) Metropolitan regional park maintenance and operation funding provided, and money appropriated, for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.
Testifying on HF 946 were:
Steve Sullivan, Dakota County;
Boe Carlson, Three Rivers Park District.
Representative Hackbarth moved HF 608 (Hackbarth) Trap shooting sports facility grants provided funding, and money appropriated, for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.
Testifying on HF 608 were:
Gary Botzek, Minnesota Conservation Federation;
Jim Sable, Minnesota High School Clay Target League.
Representative Uglem moved HF 1477 (Uglem) Solid waste reduction and recycling grant to counties usage modified, and solid waste management tax revenue allocation amended, for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.
Representative Uglem moved the H1477A2 amendment.
Representative Uglem moved to orally amend HF 1477 as follows:
Line 1.5, delete all after “to” and insert “construct any buildings or acquire any equipment.”
Line 1.6, delete “digester”.
