MINUTES
Representative McNamara, Chair of the Environment & Natural Resources Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 a.m. on February 25, 2015 in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Persell moved to approve the minutes of February 24, 2015.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Melin presented HF1000 (Wild rice quality standard application prohibited until commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency adopts rules to establish criteria for designating waters subject to a wild rice water quality standard).
Testifying before the committee on HF1000 were:
Rebecca Flood, Assistant Commissioner for Water Policy, MPCA;
Shannon Lotthammer, Director, Environmental Analysis and Outcomes Division, MPCA.
Representative McNamara moved that HF1000 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative McNamara moved that HF483 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Anderson, P. presented HF483 (Wood-burning heater regulation prohibited).

Representative Hancock moved that HF79 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Nornes presented HF79 (State permit requirements for campgrounds modified).
