MINUTES
Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Greater Minnesota Economic & Workforce Development Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:47 p.m. on January 27th, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Mahoney moved that the minutes of Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Gunther moved that HF65 (Anderson, S.) be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance.
Representative Anderson, S. presented HF65 (Small business investment credit increased).
Testifying before committee were the following in favor of HF65:
Michael Lacey, President & CEO, Digineer;
Chad Olsen, Entrepreneur.
Chair Gunther renewed the motion that HF65 pass and be re-referred to the committee on Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Gunther moved that HF66 (Anderson, S.) be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance.
Representative Anderson, S. presented HF66 (Small business investment credit sunset repealed).
Testifying before committee were the following in favor of HF65:
Genevieve Plumadore, Director of Government Relations, LifeScience Alley.
Chair Gunther renewed the motion that HF66 pass and be re-referred to the committee on Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
John Edman, Director, Explore Minnesota Tourism, gave an overview of the department.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:27 p.m.
