MINUTES
Representative McDonald, Vice Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:02pm on January 22nd, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McDonald began the meeting at 1:00pm, a quorum was NOT present.
Anne Barry, Deputy Commissioner, DHS – Direct Care & Treatment Administration presented an overview of the Jensen Settlement and Olmstead Plan.
A quorum was present at 1:02 pm. The meeting was called to order at 1:02pm.
Representative Murphy moved approval of the January 21st, 2015 minutes. The motion PREVAILED. The minutes were APPROVED.
Darlene Zangara, Executive Director, Olmstead Implementation Office testified on the Olmstead Plan.
Roberta Opheim, State Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities testified.
Deb Sjostrom, Director, Otter Tail County Human Services and Nancy Dahlin, Director, Chisago County Human Services testified.
Steve Larson, Senior Policy Director, and Don Lavin, Executive Director of The Arc Minnesota testified.
Mike Burke, Executive Director, Alexandria Opportunity Center and President, Minnesota
Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation (MOHR) testified.
Anne Henry, MN Disability Law Center testified.
Joan Willshire, Executive Director, Minnesota State Council on Disability testified.
Bruce Nelson, CEO, ARRM testified.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:30pm.
