MINUTES
Representative Mack, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform committee, called the meeting to order at 2:49 PM on March 11th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mack called the meeting to order at 2:49 PM. A quorum was present.
Representative Moran moved to approve the minutes from March 6th and March 10th, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Peterson assumed the gavel at 2:50 PM.
Representative Mack moved that HF975 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections.
Testifying on behalf of HF975 were Lance Heglund, Co-Chair, State Quality Council, and Kurt Rutzen, ARC Minnesota.
Representative Peterson renewed the motion that HF975 to be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Zerwas moved that HF236 be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance.
Representative Zerwas moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Testifying on behalf of HF236 were Kurt Altman, National Policy Advisor and General Counsel, Goldwater Institute, and Eric Dick, Minnesota Medical Association.
Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that HF236, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Peterson moved that HF877 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Lohmer moved that HF439 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Mack reconvened the meeting at 6:18 PM in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
Representative Mack moved that HF1088 be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance.

Representative Mack moved that HF1277 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.
Representative Mack moved to adopt the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mack moved to adopt the following oral amendment:
“Line 2.13, strike the number ‘15’ and inserting the number ‘16.’” THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Mack renewed her motion that HF1277, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Zerwas moved that HF1122 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.
Representative Zerwas moved to adopt the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Testifying on behalf of HF1122 were Susan Wingert, from the Pediatric Home Services, Pat Lang, Dan Ullom, and Dr. Roy Maynard, Pediatric Home Services.
Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that HF1122, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Schomacker moved that HF1314 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.
Representative Schomacker moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Testifying on behalf of HF1314 was Jeff Ogden, University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry.
Representative Schomacker renewed his motion that HF1314, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
