Representative Mack, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, officially called the meeting to order at 2:55 PM on March 16th, 2016, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Mack officially called the meeting to order at 2:55PM. A quorum was present.
Representative Masin moved the minutes of March 15th, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2683 (Kresha) Legislative task force on child protection extended.
Representative Mack moved HF2683 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.
Representative Mack moved the H2683A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Mack moved the following oral amendment to the H2683A4 amendment: On Page 1, Line 1.7, strike “one” and insert “two”. On Page 1, Line 1.7, strike “legislator” and insert “legislators”. On Page 1, Line 1.11, strike “or one tribal”. On Page 1, strike Lines 1.19 and 1.20. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Mack moved the H2683A4 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Mack renewed her motion HF2683, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1503 (Barrett) Legend drug collection and disposal as pharmaceutical waste changes made.
Representative Mack moved HF1503 to be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Mack moved the HF1503A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Testifying in support of HF1503 was Cody Wiberg, MN Board of Pharmacy, Rich Stanek, Hennepin County Sheriff, and Dr. Emily Brunner, Staff Physician, Hazelden.

HF2740 (Norton) Permanent child support task force created, and report required.
Representative Mack moved HF2740 to be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.

HF2687 (Sanders) Minnesota Radon Licensing Act Repealed.
Representative Mack moved HF2687 to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.
Testifying in support of HF2687 were Michael Hogenson, Standard Water Control; Brian Hoffman, Association of MN Building Officials; and Jeff Blixt, President of Inspecta Homes.
Testifying in opposition of HF2687 was Assistant Commissioner Paul Allwood, MN Department of Health and Lou Fragale, AARST.

HF2512 (Peterson) Pharmacist dispensation of a 90-day supply of a prescription drug allowed.
Representative Peterson moved HF2512 to be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Peterson renewed her motion that HF2512 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
