MINUTES

Representative Mack, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:49 P.M. on February 11th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mack called the meeting to order at 2:49 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Peterson moved that the minutes of February 10th, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mack moved H.F. 268 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Davids presented H.F. 268.

Testifying on H.F. 268 was Genevieve Plumadore, from LifeScience Alley.

Representative Mack renewed her motion for H.F. 268 to be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mack moved H.F. 229 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative McDonald presented H.F. 229.

Testifying on H.F. 229 was Representative Leon Lillie, co-author, and Mark Daly from Anytime Fitness.

Representative Mack renewed her motion for H.F. 229 to be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mack moved H.F. 377 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Gruenhagen presented H.F. 377.

Testifying on H.F. 377 was Aaron Schindler, Acupuncture and Oriental medicine Association of Minnesota, Dr. Chuck Sawyer, Minnesota Chiropractic Association, Northwestern Health Sciences University, Dr. Michael Flynn, Midwest Dental, Dan Renner, and Mark Hughes from Shiners, and Jacob Millner, Minnesota Dental Association.

Representative Mack renewed her motion for H.F. 377 to be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:27 P.M.
