MINUTES
Representative Hackbarth, Chair of the Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee, called the seventeenth meeting to order at 2:53 P.M. on March 18, 2015, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hackbarth began the meeting at 2:51 P.M. A quorum was NOT present.
Representative Hackbarth moved that H.F.0049 be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy & Finance.
Representative Davids presented an overview of H.F.49.
A quorum was present at 2:52 P.M. The meeting was called to order at 2:53 P.M.
Representative Dill moved to approve the minutes of March 17, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F.49 Davids, Fillmore, Olmsted, Winona, and Houston Counties; Blufflands Trail system modified.
Representative Hackbarth renewed the motion that bill H.F.49 be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy & Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F.1742 Kelly, Goodhue and Wabasha Counties; Mississippi Blufflands Trail established.
Representative Hackbarth postponed the hearing of H.F.1742.
H.F.1741 Kelly, Goodhue Pioneer State Trail funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Hackbarth moved that bill H.F.1741 be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy & Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F.0650 Anzelc, Taconite and iron sulphides and merchantable iron ore concentrate produced therefrom production tax proceeds distributed.
Representative Anzelc moved that bill H.F.650 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
Representative Anzelc gave an overview of H.F.650.
Representative Anzelc moved to adopt the H0650A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Former State Representative Loren Solberg testified on H.F.650, as amended.

H.F.0238 Dill, Residents age 84 or over allowed to take deer of either sex, & H.F.0961 Dill, Minnesota veteran home residents allowed to take antlerless deer without permit.
Representative Dill moved that H.F.238 be re-referred to the General Register.
