MINUTES
Representative Hackbarth, Chair of the Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee, called the twenty-second meeting to order at 2:55 P.M. on March 16, 2016, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Yarusso moved to approve the minutes of March 15, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F.2573 Nornes, Club membership exclusion of game release charges from sales tax provided.
Representative Hackbarth moved that bill H.F.2573 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and Bob Welsh, Section Wildlife Operations Manager of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, gave an overview of Proposed Non-toxic Shot Requirement on Wildlife Management Areas in the Farmland Zone and took questions from committee members.
