MINUTES
Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:19 A.M. on April 9, 2015 in Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Cornish called the meeting to order at 10:19 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative O’Neill moved that the minutes from the April 8, 2015 meeting be approved.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1776 (Pinto): Violent Crime Coordinating Council and multijurisdictional investigations expanded to include combating sex trafficking crimes, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agent funding provided, and money appropriated.
Representative Cornish moved that HF 1776 be laid over for possible inclusion in omnibus bill.
Representative Cornish moved the DE1-2 Amendment.

HF 1056 (Norton): Local law enforcement agency grant program established to develop or expand lifesaver programs that locate lost or wandering persons who are mentally impaired, rulemaking authorized, and money appropriated.
Representative Cornish moved that HF 1056 be laid over for possible inclusion in omnibus bill.
Representative Schoen moved to orally amend HF 1056 as follows:
Strike subdivisions 5, 6, and 8.
