MINUTES
Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 10, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Nelson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 5, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Pugh moved that HF794 come before the committee and be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
HF794 (O’Driscoll) – Statutory sections related to surveying streamlined and simplified, technical and conforming changes made.
Representative Tim O’Driscoll testified on HF794.
Michael Welling, Washington County Surveyor, Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors, testified on HF794.
Representative Pugh renewed the motion that HF794 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Johnson moved that HF385 come before the committee and be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
HF385 (Hortman) – Business conversion provisions modified.
Representative Melissa Hortman testified on HF385.
Representative Johnson moved the A15-0113 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Johnson renewed the motion that HF385 be recommended to be placed on the General Register as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Tammy Pust, Chief Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings, gave an overview of the Governor’s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2016 – 2017.
