MINUTES
Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 12, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Nelson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 11, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Pugh moved that HF501 come before the committee and be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
HF501 (Fenton) – Military and overseas voting provisions modified.

Representative Pugh renewed the motion that HF501 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Nash moved that HF450 come before the committee and be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
HF450 (Lohmer) – Military Spouses and Families Day established.
Representative Lohmer moved the oral amendment to HF450 as follows:
Page 1, Line 1.6 – delete “The Friday immediately following Thanksgiving day” and change to “The Sunday immediately preceding Memorial day”. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Legislative Auditor, presented the Evaluation Report on Councils on Asian-Pacific Minnesotans, Black Minnesotans, Chicano/Latino People, and Indian Affairs.
