Representative Peggy Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM, on February 9th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Loonan moved to approve the minutes of February 2nd, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF474 (Albright) Medical Practice Board criminal background checks authorized, and physicians exempted from criminal background checks under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
Representative Smith moved that HF474 be referred to the General Register.

HF324 (Backer) Interstate compact for the recognition of emergency medical service personnel licensure provided.
Representative O’Neill moved that HF324 be referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.
