MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee began the meeting at 3:00 PM on February 8th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF701 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Committee.

A quorum was reached and Chair Hoppe called the meeting to order at 3:04 PM.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF701 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes of January 31st, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF226 (Dettmer)
Combined net receipts tax calculation modified.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF226 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

MNvest registration exemption modified.

Representative Loon moved that HF444 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Loon moved the H0444A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
