MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee began the meeting at 3:00 PM on March 7th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hoppe officially called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM. A quorum was present.

HF1243 (Petersburg)
Security freezes for protected persons authorized, and exceptions provided.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1243 be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF1234 be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Criminal penalties modified.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1119 be re-referred to the Public Safety Committee.

Chair Hopped moved the A17-0063 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Landscape application contracts regulated, and exclusion provided.

Representative Davids moved that HF676 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Loonan moved the A17-0074 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Loonan moved the A17-0181_1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids moved the A1-0147 amendment.

Representative Davids withdrew the A1-0147 amendment.
