MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. on January 24th, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fabian called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Backer moved to adopt the minutes of January 18th, 2017 and January 19th, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Heintzeman assumed that gavel at 8:19 A.M.

Dr. Lou Cornicelli, Wildlife Manager, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, provided an update on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).

Dr. Paul Anderson, Assistant Director, Minnesota Board of Animal Health, provided testimony and additional information on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in Minnesota.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:37 A.M.
