MINUTES
Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy, began the meeting at 10:15AM on March 2nd, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair O’Driscoll started the meeting to order at 10:19AM. A quorum was present.
Representative Swedzinski moved to approve the minutes of March 1st. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1390 (Zerwas) County law library allowed to transfer money to the county for construction costs.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF1390 come before the committee and be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF262 come before the committee and be re-referred to the Health and Human Service Finance Committee.

HF1206 (Albright) Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council modified, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury student research scholarship and education program created, and money appropriated.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF1206 come before the committee and be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Nelson moved the HF1206A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1530 (Scott) Task forces required to comply with Open Meeting Law.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF1530 come before the committee and be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair O’Driscoll moved the HF1530A2 amendment before the committee.
Chair O’Driscoll moved to orally amend the HF1530A2 amendment as follows: Line 1.14, strike “January 1, 2018” and insert “May 1, 2017”. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE ORAL AMENDMENT TO THE HF1530A2 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair O’Driscoll moved to adopt the HF1530A2 amendment, as orally amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF1530, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register.
Chair O’Driscoll moved to reconsider HF1206, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF179 (Scott) Ignition interlock performance standards amended, and use of devices with location tracking capabilities prohibited.
