MINUTES


Representative Schomacker, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:24 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF809 (Franson) Abortion funding from state-sponsored health programs limited.

Representative Franson moved HF809 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Testimony was heard regarding HF809.

Andrea Ledger, Pro-Choice Minnesota;
Douglas Creedon, M.D., Chair, Minnesota Section, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Representative Liebling requested a roll call vote on HF809.

Representative Franson renewed her motion that HF809 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Schomacker called the meeting to recess at 9:56 a.m.

Representative Schomacker reconvened the meeting at 4:37 p.m.

HF812 (Kiel) Abortion performing facility licensure required, licensing fee required, and money appropriated.

Representative Kiel moved HF812 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations.

Testimony was heard regarding HF812.
