MINUTES
Representative Nornes, Chair of the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM on February 21, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Heintzeman moved that the minutes of February 15, 2017, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1142 (Christensen) Concurrent enrollment provisions modified, and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees required to establish a supplemental instruction program.
Representative Christensen moved that HF1142 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Christensen moved to adopt the H1142DE1 amendment (Christensen). THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Christensen renewed his motion that HF1142 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
HF1369 (Urdahl) College admission and graduation programs for low-income students funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Nornes moved that HF1369 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Chair Nornes moved that HF1206 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
Representative Albright moved to adopt the H1206A2 amendment (Albright). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1067 (Bernardy) Minnesota State Colleges and Universities required to establish a program allowing secondary school teachers to earn graduate credits required to teach concurrent enrollment courses, and money appropriated.
Chair Nornes moved that HF1067 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
