MINUTES
Representative Christensen, Vice Chair of the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:04 PM on February 28, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Christensen officially called the meeting to order at 3:07 PM. A quorum was present.
HF1575 (Omar) Summer academic enrichment program funding provided, and money appropriated.
Representative Omar moved that HF1575 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF868 (Jessup) Greater Minnesota internship tax credit modified.
Representative Jessup moved that HF868 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

HF1206 (Albright) Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council modified, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury student research scholarship and education program created, and money appropriated.
Representative Zerwas moved that HF1206 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1430 (Zerwas) State grant program parameters adjusted.
Representative Zerwas moved that HF1430 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
