Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, started the meeting at 10:15 AM, on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:23 AM. A quorum was present.
HF2870 (Sundin) Motor vehicle lease and purchase exemptions modified.
Representative Metsa moved HF2870 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.
Representative Metsa moved the H2870A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Metsa renewed his motion that HF2870, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.
Representative Schultz moved the minutes of Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2811 (Knoblach) Vendors excluded from remitting June sales tax collection on an accelerated basis.
Representative Knoblach moved HF2811 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

HF2282 (Kiel) Solid waste management tax rebate for materials removed from the waste stream for recycling, composting, or reuse required; and money appropriated.
Representative Gruenhagen moved HF2282 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.
Representative Gruenhagen moved the H2282A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids moved the H2099DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
