MINUTES
Representative Runbeck, Chair of the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on February 20th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Runbeck called the meeting to order at 1:03 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Hornstein moved the minutes of February 15th, 2017. THE MOTION
PREVAILED.
HF828 (Albright) Metropolitan Council governance modified.
Chair Runbeck moved that HF828 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Chair Runbeck moved the H0828A4 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Runbeck moved to orally amend HF1150 “Page 1, line 12, delete “80” and insert “60”.”

HF829 (Hornstein) Metropolitan Council staggered terms provided, nomination committee membership expanded, additional information to be made publicly available as a part of the selection process required, member qualifications clarified, new advisory committee required, and sewer availability charges stakeholder group established.
Representative Hornstein moved HF829 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Hornstein moved the H0829A3 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Hornstein moved to orally amend HF829: “On page 4, line 8 after “centers” delete “and” and insert “,” after centers insert “, and educational opportunities at all levels.” THE MOTION PREVAILED THE LANGUAGE WAS INCORPORTATED.
