MINUTES
Representative Runbeck, Chair of the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 12, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Runbeck called the meeting to order at 1:02 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative West moved the Minutes of March 7th, 2018. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2795 (Loon) Teacher code of ethics codified, background checks required, mandatory reporting expanded, grounds for teacher discharge expanded, and criminal sexual conduct offenses for persons in current or recent positions of authority of juveniles expanded.
Char Runbeck moved that HF2795 be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law and Data Privacy Policy.
Representative Loon presented HF2795.
Tom Keliher, Minnesota School Bus Operators Association, testified on HF2795.
Chair Runbeck renewed the motion that HF2795 be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law and Data Privacy Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF3463 (Petersburg) Motor vehicle titling and registration provisions modified.
Representative Petersburg moved that HF3463 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operation and Elections.
Representative Petersburg moved the H3463A1 Amendment.
Representative Petersburg moved to amend the H3463A1 Amentment as follows.
On line 1.5 delete “from auctioneers” and add “s” after “perform” and on Line 1.7 delete “eligible auctioneers” and add “auto auctions”. THE LANGUAGE WAS INCORPORATED.
Representative Petersburg moved the H3463 Amendment as adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3273 (Albright) Metropolitan Council governance modified, and Transportation Advisory Board eliminated.
Chair Runbeck moved that HF3273 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections.
