MINUTES
Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15am on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes of March 8, 2018 be approved
MOTION PREVAILED.
The Committee received an overview of the tax conformity issue from Joel Michael and Sean Williams of the House Research Department.
The Committee received an overview of the pensions system from Susan Lenczewski and Rachel Barth of the Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement.
Representative Knoblach recessed the committee at 11:50am to the call of the Chair.
Representative Knoblach reconvened the Ways and Means Committee at 5:00pm.
Representative Knoblach moved that HF3147 be referred to the General Register.
Representative Torkelson presented HF3147.
HF 3147 (Torkelson) Minnesota Licensing and Registration System development and implementation requirements established, report required, and money appropriated.
Rep. Torkelson moved the A10 Amendment and incorporated a modification as follows:
Page 2, line 21, delete "June 30" and insert "October 31"
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT AS AMENDED WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Torkelson moved the A11 Amendment.
Legislative Auditor James Nobles testified on the A11 Amendment.
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Hornstein moved the DE5 Amendment.
Johanna Clyborne, Commissioner of Mn.It Services testified on the DE5 Amendment.
Representative Hornstein requested a roll call vote on the DE5 amendment. The results were as follows:
