MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Subcommittee on Workplace Safety and Respect, called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on March 12, 2018, in Room 120 of the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Members excused:

Representative Peppin called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Fenton moved the minutes of March 5, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Marilyn Clark, Attorney, Dorsey & Whitney, testified on harassment policies and procedures.

Daniel Prokett, Attorney, Faegre Baker Daniels, testified on harassment policies and procedures.

The subcommittee held an informational hearing on HF3030.
Representative Hortman gave an overview of the bill.

The subcommittee held an informational hearing on Representative Hortman’s proposed amendment to the Permanent Rules of the House of Representatives.
Representative Hortman gave an overview of the proposed amendment.

Teri Walker McLaughlin, Executive Director, Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault testified on harassment policies and procedures.

Caroline Palmer, Public and Legal Affairs Manager, Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault testified on harassment policies and procedures.
