MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:35AM on March 8th, 2019, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Halverson moved HF893 and HF0893A19-0146 (Huot) amendment to be re-referred to Ways and Means with a recommendation to State Government Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Subprime references in Minnesota Statutes removed.

Representative O’Driscoll moved for HF1840 to be referred to the General Register.

Pari-mutuel Racing Commission licensing, reporting, and other regulatory provisions modified.

Representative Tabke moved HF2018 to be re-referred to Government Operations committee.

Representative Halverson moved HF572 and the HF0572A2 (Schultz) amendment to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Policy Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
