MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:33 p.m. on March 10th, 2020, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Stephenson moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on March 4th, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4206 (Sundin); 2020 Workers' Compensation Advisory Council recommendations adopted.

Representative Halverson moved HF4206 be re-referred to the Labor Committee.

Representative Halverson renewed the motion that HF4206 be re-referred to the Labor Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3500 (Gruenhagen); Life insurance policy sales that convert to long-term care insurance policies allowed.

Representative Halverson moved HF3500 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Halverson renewed the motion that HF3500 be re-referred to the General Register.

HF3099 (Stephenson); False caller identification information prohibited, and criminal penalties provided.

Representative Stephenson moved HF3099 be re-referred to Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division.

Representative Stephenson moved H3099A3 (Stephenson) amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Howard assumed the gavel at 3:41 p.m.
