MINUTES

Representative Youakim, Chair of the Education Policy Committee, called the remote meeting to order at 2:30 P.M. on June 16, 2020, pursuant to House Rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

H.F.36 (Kunesh-Podein) General education, education excellence, teachers, Department of Education housekeeping, nutrition, and early childhood education provided.

Vice-Chair Kunesh-Podein moved that H.F. 36 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Vice-Chair Kunesh-Podein moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Written testimony will still be accepted on all bills and limited oral testimony will be taken on the following provisions in HF 36 that had less opportunity for testimony during the regular session: Article 2 Sections 2, 5-16 and Article 6.
