MINUTES

Representative Mike Freiberg, Chair of the Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:07pm on April 11th, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Koegel moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 28th, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Elkins moved HF2808 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

HF2808 (Elkins); Website Accessibility Grant Advisory Council established, grants to cities and counties to improve website accessibility funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Masin moved Amendment H2808A1. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Elkins renewed his motion to rerefer HF2808 to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Elkins moved HF1977 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

HF1977 (Elkins); Contract nonmonetary consideration restriction exemption added.

Representative Elkins moved to adopt the following oral amendment: 1:11 delete “state-owned” and after “fiber” insert “owned by the state as of the effective date of this section”. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Elkins renewed his motion to rerefer HF1977, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Nash moved HF1949 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

HF1949 (Nash); Cloud computing defined, and consideration of cloud computing options in state agency information technology projects required.

Representative Nash moved Amendment H1949A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Nash renewed the motion that HF1949, as amended, be rereferred to the Committee Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Zerwas requested a roll call vote on HF2066.

Representative Freiberg renewed his motion to rerefer HF2066 to the Public Safety & Criminal Justice Reform Finance & Policy Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
