MINUTES

Representative Elkins, Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Local Government, called the meeting to order at 9:49 AM on January 23, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Subcommittee on Local Government members and staff introduced themselves.

Presentation on local government terms and the relation between the state and legislature.

Overviews on the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities, Metro Cities, the League of Minnesota Cities, and the Municipal Legislative Commission.
