MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:07 A.M. on, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Marquart officially called the meeting to order at 8:10 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Lislegard moved that the minutes of February 7, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 670 (Freiberg) Construction materials purchased by certain contractors exemption provisions modified, and refund provision added

Representative Lislegard moved that HF 670 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 779 (Swedzinski) Construction materials purchased by certain contractors exemption provisions modified, and refund provision added

Testifiers on HF 670 and HF 779:

Representative Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 670 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Swedzinski moved that HF 779 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Swedzinski renewed his motion that HF 779 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.


HF 702 (Swedzinski) Local government motor vehicle purchase exemption expanded

Representative Swedzinski moved that HF 702 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 382 (Marquart) Sunset date on sale tax exemption for admission to Minnesota State High School League sponsored events eliminated

Representative Marquart moved that HF 382 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Marquart renewed his motion that HF 382 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 A.M.
