MINUTES
Representative Lyndon Carlson, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Garofalo moved that the minutes of May 18, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2889 (Davnie) Education finance; forecast adjustments made, and money appropriated.
Representative Davnie moved that HF2889 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Carlson moved the H2889A1 amendment. Emily Adriaens, House Fiscal Staff, explained the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Davnie presented the bill and answered questions.
Kate Lynne Snyder, Minnesota Department of Education, answered questions on the bill.
Bill Marx, House Chief Fiscal Analyst, answered questions on the fiscal aspects of the bill.
Representative Davnie renewed the motion that HF2889, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting recessed at 1:27 P.M. and did not reconvene.
