MINUTES

Representative Jeanne Poppe, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on February 21st, 2019, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Brand moved to adopt the minutes from the division meeting on February 19, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Overview of the Governor’s budget recommendations
• Andrea Vaubel, Deputy Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Agriculture

Representative Poppe moved that H.F. 232 be referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Poppe moved to adopt the H0232A2 (Poppe) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Poppe moved to adopt the H0232A3 (Poppe) amendment to the H0232A2 (Poppe) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Poppe renewed her motion to refer H.F. 232, as amended, to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Poppe moved that H.F. 623 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Representative Poppe renewed her motion that H.F. 623 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Representative Poppe moved that H.F. 1320 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Representative Poppe renewed her motion that H.F. 1320 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus finance bill.

Representative Anderson moved that H.F. 829 be referred to the Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation that the bill be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division.

Representative Anderson renewed his motion that H.F. 829 be referred to the Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation that the bill be re-referred to the Capital Investment Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
