MINUTES
Representative Jeanne Poppe, member of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on March 5th, 2020, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brand moved the minutes from March 3rd, 2020.
The motion prevailed.
Introduction of Tom Smude, 2018 Innovator of the Year, Agricultural Utilization Research Institute
Representative Vang moved that HF 3706 be recommended to be rereferred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division.

Representative Vang renewed her motion that HF 3706 be recommended to be rereferred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division.

A continuation of the division’s February 13th, 2020 discussion of industrial hemp:
• Anthony Cortilet, Plant Protection, Minnesota Department of Agriculture
Representative Brand assumed the gavel at 10:24AM.
Representative Poppe moved that HF 3533 be recommended to be rereferred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division.
Representative Poppe moved the H3533A2 amendment for approval.
The motion prevailed.

Representative Lippert moved HF 3739 for future consideration.
