MINUTES

Representative Pinto, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:06 am on February 27th, 2020 in Room 500 South in the State Office Building.

A quorum was present.

Representative Bahner moved that the minutes from February 25th be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF1512 (Sandell) - Early education teacher licensure requirements established.

Representative Bahner moved that HF1512 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Bahner moved that the H1512DE1 amendment be added to HF1512. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Sandell presented HF1512, as amended.

Representative Demuth moved that HF1512, as amended, be re-referred to Education Policy with a recommendation to be re-referred to Labor.

Representative Demuth amended her previous motion to move that HF1512, as amended, be referred to the Labor Committee. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Representative Bahner renewed her motion that HF1512, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3222 (Becker-Finn) – State Building Code; baby diaper changing station installation in public restrooms required.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved HF3222 be laid over for future consideration.

Representative Becker-Finn presented HF3222.

Chair Pinto laid over HF3222 for future consideration.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn assumed the gavel at 8:48am.

HF2319 (Pinto) - Human services program integrity modified, criminal penalties created, and money appropriated.

Chair Pinto moved that HF2319 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division.

Chair Pinto moved that the H2319DE2 amendment be added to HF2319. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pinto presented HF2319, as amended.

Chair Pinto renewed his motion that HF2319, as amended, be referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pinto resumed the gavel at 9:02am.

HF3311 (Richardson) - Birth to Age Eight Pilot Project modified.

Representative Bahner moved that HF3311 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Bahner moved that the H3311A1 amendment be added to HF311. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Richardson presented HF3311, as amended.

Representative Bahner renewed her motion that HF311, as amended, be place on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
