Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on January 24th, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:46 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Lueck moved to adopt the minutes of January 22nd, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Hans Neve, Section Manager, Pollution Control Agency Remediation Division, provided an overview of the Closed Landfill Investment Fund (CLIF) and the Metropolitan Landfill Contingency Action Trust (MLCAT).
Jamie Wallerstedt, Supervisor, Pollution Control Agency Remediation Division, provided additional information on CLIF and MLCAT.
Kirk Koudelka, Assistant Commissioner, Pollution Control Agency, provided additional information on CLIF and MLCAT.
Vice Chair Claflin assumed the gavel at 1:41 P.M.
HF233 (Hansen) Previously authorized capital projects funding source changed, conditional spending authorized to acquire and better public land and buildings and other improvements of a capital nature, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Chair Hansen moved HF233 to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Chair Hansen moved the HF233A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
