Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. on March 28th, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Lee moved to approve the minutes of March 27th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF223 (Sundin) Waste tire facilities financial assurance required.
Representative Sundin moved that HF223 be laid over.
Representative Sundin moved to adopt the following oral amendment:
Delete section 2, and renumber the effective date on page 3, line 21
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF2220 (Davnie) Minnesota Outdoor Recreation Office established, and money appropriated.
Vice Chair Claflin moved that HF2220 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF2032 (Hansen) Environment and natural resources trust funds appropriated, and previous appropriations modified.
Chair Hansen moved that HF2032 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Chair Hansen moved to adopt the A3 amendment with the following correction:
Page 2, line 6: delete “9” and insert “29”
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED AS CORRECTED.
Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF2032, as amended, be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1656 (Persell) Outdoor recreation grant provisions modified, game and fish law modified, beaver and beaver dams causing damage removal provided, insecticides in wildlife management areas banned, and rulemaking required.
Representative Persell moved that HF1656 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Representative Persell moved to adopt the A6 amendment.

Representative Ecklund moved that HF1454 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Ecklund moved to adopt the A19-031 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
