Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the first meeting to order at 9:46 A.M. on, January 31, 2019, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Mayor Dave Kleis, St. Cloud, and Pat Shae, Director of Public Services for St. Cloud, presented to the committee on the city’s renewable energy and energy efficiency progress.
Michael Reese, Renewable Energy Director at the University of Minnesota Morris, presented to the committee on the Morris Model.
Pat Collins, Science Teacher at Chisago Lakes Middle School, presented to the committee on the process of renewable energy investments at the Chisago Lakes School District.
Dan Juhl, Chairman of the Board for Juhl Energy, presented to the committee on the company’s different renewable energy projects.
Troy Adams, General Manager for Elk River Municipal Utilities, presented to the committee on the current state of their energy portfolio and investments in renewables.
