Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 9:48 A.M. on, February 13, 2020, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Mark Seeley, Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota, presented on the state of precipitation in Minnesota.
Nancy Schuldt, Water Projects Coordinator for the Fond du Lac Band, presented on the impacts of climate change and increased precipitation on reservation lands and its natural resources.
Joe Magner, Research Professor at the University of Minnesota, presented on the impacts of increased precipitation and runoff on water quality, specifically in southern and western Minnesota.
Jeff Broberg, Professional Geologist at the Minnesota Well Owners Organization, presented on the impacts of increased precipitation on ground water and drinking water quality, especially well owners.
Paige Novak, Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Minnesota, presented on the impacts of climate change on wastewater treatment.
Randy Neprash, Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition, presented on the impacts of climate change on stormwater systems because of increased precipitation.
Representative Long moved adoption of the April 4, 2019, February 6, 2020, and February 7, 2020 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting adjourned at 11:18 A.M.
