MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on, May 7, 2020, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Representative Long moved adoption of the April 23, 2020 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Michelle Gransee, Director of the Minnesota State Energy Office at the Department of Commerce, presented on WARM Homes and Healthy AIR programs.


Pursuant to House rule 10.01, and at the request of Chair Wagenius, all motions pertaining to HF3230 will be determined by roll call vote.


HF 3230 (Boe) Electric utility program that encourages efficient lighting amended to include LED promotion.

Representative Boe moved that HF3230 be placed on the general register.

Annie Levinson-Falk, Citizens Utility Board, and Bill Grant, Minnesota Community Action Partnership, provided the committee with an update on COVID-19 related utility shut offs.


The meeting adjourned at 9:07 A.M.
