HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE DIVISION

MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the virtual Health and Human Services Finance Division meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on April 23, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Moran moved that the minutes of March 5, 2020, March 10, 2020 and March 11, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Dan Huff, Assistant Commissioner, Health Protection Bureau, Minnesota Department of Health, gave an update on the comprehensive testing strategy developed by the Governor’s Work Group.

Dr. Killeen, Director of Clinical Laboratories, University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and Dr. Pritt, Director of Clinical Parasitology Laboratory, Mayo Clinic, responded to member questions.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:09 P.M.
