MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the virtual Health and Human Services Finance Division meeting to order at 11:45 A.M. on June 5, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Cantrell moved that the minutes of May 6, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Commissioner Jan Malcolm, MN Department of Health (MDH), and Dr. Emily Downing, Allina Health, on behalf of the MN Hospital Association, gave an update on COVID-19 and Long-Term Care Facilities.

Kris Ehresmann, Director, MDH Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Prevention and Control Division, and Marie Dotseth, Assistant Commissioner, MDH Health Systems Bureau, responded to member questions.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:19 P.M.
